Kabir Jeet Singh is the CEO and co-founder of the Gurugram-based chain, Burger Singh. While he was studying to earn his MBA from Birmingham Business School, he found time to work part-time at a burger outlet and experiment with different spices in his burgers. Customers flocked to him because of his “desi tadka,” earning him the nickname “Burger Singh. He used the name for his own fast-food chain while starting up in 2014.When did Burger Singh start?
Kabir, in partnership with Nitin Rana, his childhood friend, started the business. Burger Singh first started expanding to Delhi NCR. Slowly, the business expanded to North and West India. In 2017, Burger Singh began franchising.
